John Rice gift

 

I am so happy. These peonies were given to me by a friend who has since passed away. The new owners of our old house got rid of all of my flower beds. However, a couple of years ago they did let us come dig some of the flowers. They have been mowing these over, but I was still able to get to the tubers and pulled them up. I brought them here and each year they have grown bit by bit. This is the first year I have had a bloom since I did that. I am so excited they survived.
