Flea Market Find ... part 2

Yesterday I posted a photo of a lovely armoire that we purchased at our local flea market.  We've had a debate about refinishing it before we list it for sale, or selling as is.  I had mentioned we purchased a few pieces.  Well, this is the other piece.  Isn't it gorgeous?

Made by Kroehler, this chest of drawers is a smaller piece and called to us.  I love the inlaid wood detail and the cute little knobs (one is missing in the photo, but we have it).  Mark wants to find a place to put this in the bedroom.  If we can't make it work, we'll sell it.  

We really didn't need either one of these pieces.  Our storage garage is literally overflowing with MCM furniture and accessories.  But, it had started to rain and these two pieces were not under cover.  They were too nice to see ruined.  We had to rescue them.  We're sick.

 

 

UPDATE:  Well I put this on Craigslist and it sold almost immediately.  It now has a new home with some excited people.  So glad we saved it from the rain.
