Happy birthday Lyla

Today my sweet little girl Lyla turns 1.  Wow.  She was born with a pretty significant cleft lip and palate.  She and her brother came to rescue, but unfortunately her brother passed away.  Lyla hung tough and worked her way into our hearts.  She was put up for adoption, and received NO applications.  None.  Crazy!  We weren't looking to add another animal to our home, but now I can't imagine not having her here.  She is the most challenging pup I've had, but she's also the most cuddly.  She is curious which gets her in trouble, but she is also loving to everyone that crosses her path.  Special needs animals are my kryptonite.  I will always do all I can to help them.  We love you big sweet little girl.  Thanks for entering our lives.
