 What an incredible day we had today. I did a post on Tyler's Bottle Service Facebook page a few days ago about Tyler wanting more autographed hats for his room we were almost immediately told to contact The Joe Kocur Foundation. 
We dropped off a couple of hats at the police department with Sgt. Brad Connell of the White Lake Police Department, purchased a few tickets and looked forward to the day.

The rain stopped just in time and we headed out, thinking we'd be there for a little bit. Little did we know what we were in for! This is a fabulous event. We were greeted by Mark Rall, and through Pepsi (THANK YOU PEPSI!) Tyler and Mark were given passes back to the private area where they could mingle with the players. Mark Rall also graciously hustled us around to get signatures from others and made introductions all around. Tyler received royal treatment. And oh boy did he get signatures. Over and over he kept saying what an amazing day it was; and the perfect ending for summer. He has three special hats that were only signed by 1 person. One hat was Mickey Redmond and the other hat is Sgt. Brad Connell. Sgt. Connell had Joe Kocur sign a hat for Tyler, and that is a special 1 signature hat too. Another hat was filled with signatures from the day. Tyler kept saying he couldn't believe it. Everyone was so friendly and gracious. What a lot of fun.

THANK YOU to those of you who have reached out to us about getting signatures. I will be mailing out hats this week to those who requested them. We won a couple of special auction items today too, so Tyler's working on the coolest bedroom in Metro Detroit.

AND - if you have never been to this event, make plans to attend next year. The Joe Kocur Foundation for Children does amazing things in our community and it was great fun seeing these athletes, personalities and families coming together in a relaxed way to just have a great time and raise a little money. I love our community.
