A blessing from Tyler's Bottle Service customers

Totally amazed and blessed.  Tyler has been picking up bottles from a client for over a year.  Today he stopped by for a scheduled pickup and she met him with a christmas card and a package.  The note in the card was lovely.  In the package, she had put all of the envelopes with her half of the bottle return money that Tyler had left for her over the past year.  Incredible!  She gave him a hug, wished him Merry Christmas, and said she wished that more people had his work ethic.  

This customer learned about Tyler from the article about him that was run in the Spinal Column last year.  She planned to do this right from the beginning.  The fact that she gave him back all of the envelopes really made an impact on Tyler.

Another customer gave Tyler a giant candy bar and gift card to Red Robin.  Another customer gave him a nice NASCAR duffle bag and diecast model.  Other customers have given him cards with gift cards and holiday tips.  The thing that strikes me the most about this is that none of these people know our family personally.  They hired Tyler for their own reasons and have used his service, which gives him work.

Its so easy to focus on the wrong things this time of year.  I am guilty of that.  I stress about getting the right presents for people, decorating the hosue, getting all of my "to do" list completed.

This season, Tyler's Bottle Service customers are reminding me what the season is all about.  Merry Christmas and remember to bless someone else today.
